Lorie Shora

Dr. Lorie Shora received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marshall University and a Bachelor of Science from Johns Hopkins University. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University & her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Virginia. She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Lorie worked as a registered nurse in a pediatric outpatient clinic and in an adult inpatient transplant unit. These experiences enhanced her ability to form collaborative relationships with her patients while focusing on their physical and mental health goals.

As a nurse practitioner, Lorie has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings as well as clinical research. She is a member of The Menopause Society and is passionate about providing care to women through perimenopause and menopause.
