Victoria Wilson, LMSW
Therapist
Victoria is an Adult, Adolescent, and Young Adult Psychotherapist at the Heartwood Program who believes in being true to who we are and honoring each person’s unique life experience. Her work is rooted in social work practice and the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and meaningful change.
A native Washingtonian and graduate of The Catholic University of America, Victoria brings a thoughtful and culturally aware perspective to her work. She understands that while our environments and experiences may shape who we are, they do not define what we are capable of becoming. Victoria believes that meaningful change happens at the intersection of self-awareness, supportive relationships, and skill-building. Her collaborative, down-to-earth approach to therapy integrates evidence-based practices with an emphasis on connection, trust, and authenticity. She meets clients where they are while helping them build insight, strengthen coping skills, and develop a
stronger sense of self.
She has worked with adolescents, young adults, and adults across the D.C. area navigating emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. With adolescents and families, she recognizes that this stage of life can feel both overwhelming and transformative and approaches her work with
empathy, curiosity, and care. With young adults and adults, she supports clients in navigating life transitions, identity development, relationship challenges, and the ongoing impact of past experiences, helping them move toward greater clarity, stability, and self-understanding.
Victoria is continually inspired by the honesty and resilience of the individuals she works with and is
passionate about supporting them as they navigate difficult emotions, relationships, and life transitions with greater confidence and clarity. Outside of her clinical work, Victoria enjoys painting,
taking road trips, and spending time with her two chihuahuas.
